I should be working on my Futurism spread by now, but I think I am coming close to a final design for my typeface poster. I wish the colors were accurate on here.... just click on the picture and its the real colors.

Aha! Finally, after two weeks I finished my hand drawing for Life Drawing. I think this one went over much better than the skulls. Next.... feet.

Wow, first graphic design project done. That was difficult. I am clearly being sarcastic here. I could have finished this a month ago but then I would have just sat around in class doing nothing. All we were supposed to do was create interesting compositions. Here are four of them.......

More Futura drafts. I still need to work on the "utura" part of this, but whatever.

February 17th

Yay! Typography time! For my next assignment we have to create a poster for a specific font. I chose Futura because I love san-serifs! I don't have too many issues with this one. I just need to rearrange the numbers and all should be well.


There, I changed the color of this one. I like parts of this, but I also hate parts of it. I'll just have to play around with it more.

A photo montage of my hand drawing concept. It is supposed to embody life through death. Clearly the baby hand symbolizes birth, and the skeleton hand represents death. The giving and receiving hands portray the essence of a career and also the act of giving and receiving in general. Deep, huh?

February 11th

As promised, here are the skulls I was drawing for my life drawing class. Ahh, so nice and emo-looking. I think it turned out fine except for the composition which is kind of terrible. It worked out differently in my head... oh well, I still got a B.

This is for my Typography class. Though it is very simple, I like how it looks like it could be in a classy cookbook.

I am terrible at drawing hands, so I decided to practice.

Even though this is called the January project, I've decided to continue it with "January" being more of a symbolic reference. As in, though January is often a barren wasteland, a certain beauty and creativity can be drawn from it. We'll go with that.
